Advantages of colloidal solar cells
1. The real green power
The battery plate material is made of special alloy, which does not contain antimony, cadmium and other substances harmful to the environment. And the battery also uses a special nanomaterial gel, so even if the cover is broken, it will not splash acid.
2. Low internal resistance
The use of imported low internal resistance separators and special technology makes the colloidal battery have the advantages of low internal resistance, good battery capacity, and high discharge efficiency.
3. Low self-discharge rate
Less than 3% per month, lead-acid is less than 15% according to Chinese battery standards.
4. Low gas production rate
The outgassing rate of gel batteries is only 5% of ordinary sealed batteries.
5. Long life design
The lifespan is more than 1000 times at 25 ºC, the average battery is only 600 times according to the industry standard. Lifespan will vary widely based on usage, maintenance and charging, temperature, and other factors. But usually it is 5-8 years.
6. Wider temperature range
-30ºC to 55ºC, suitable for different temperature and charging and discharging conditions
7. Excellent discharge recovery ability
When the battery is discharged to close to 0V, short-circuit the two poles of the battery for 24 hours, fully charge it again, and run it 5 times. 90% of the initial capacity can be released when the battery is discharged to 10.5V each time.
